Beykoz University has embarked on an important journey to implement the EFQM Excellence Model developed by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and to set up management processes with this model.

Our University's "Program Design Workshop based on Learning Outputs" was held on January 3-4, 2019 at the Rector's Campus with the participation of all our academic staff and administrative units. At the joint meeting held on January 3, 2019, a presentation on "The Purpose of the Workshop, National and Turkish Qualifications Frameworks, Program and Course Learning Outputs and Student Workload Based Crediting" was made to all participants of the workshop, while Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu gave a presentation on "Beykoz University New ECTS Information Package", and Vice Secretary General Asts. Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Bekaroğlu Özatar gave a presentation on "Workshop Layout and Functioning".

The 2019 theme of the PERYÖN Human Management Congress, which was held for the 27th time this year, was "Human Resources Industry 4.0/ Digital Transformation Society & Sociology Artificial Intelligence". Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was the opening guest of the congress held on November 22, 2019. İmamoğlu drew attention to human resources management in the public sector. The congress held 50 sessions in two days and presented 100 speakers.

The new EFQM Model Basic Training was held on August 26, 2020. The updated contents of the EFQM Model were conveyed in the training carried out by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman, academic and administrative staff and Management Consultant, EFQM Instructor Celal Seçkin.

Within the scope of the 'Institutional External Evaluation Program' which envisions sustainable institutionalization policies by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) External Evaluation Team Members Prof. Dr. Arif Bulent Özgüler (Team President), Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Aşkın, Prof. Dr. Cengiz Hakan Aydın, Prof. Dr. Şadiye Emet Güler, Prof. Dr. , Ramazan Eser and Kürşat Taştan made an online preliminary visit to our University on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

In 2016, the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) was published in our country and regulated the procedures and principles to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially privacy, in the processing of personal data and to comply with the obligations of real and legal persons who process personal data.

The external evaluation process of our university, which envisions sustainable institutionalization policies by identifying the strengths and open aspects of higher education institutions in Turkey and carried out by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), was completed with the final stage made face-to-face on November 26-27, 2020 within the scope of the "Institutional External Evaluation Program".
