Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü, International Law and Organizations dersi kapsamında, Gabriela Guzman ve Arrey Ojong Eyumeneh ile "Working at the United Nations" konulu söyleşi gerçekleştirecektir. Söyleşi ile ilgili detaylar aşağıdaki gibidir;
Gabriela Guzman is a Human Rights Officer at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, where she supports the UN Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances. For the past ten years, her work as a human rights officer at the UN has mainly focused on issues related to enforced disappearances and violence against women. Prior to joining the United Nations, Gabriela worked in academia, civil society and the public sector in Mexico City. She completed her BA in International Relations at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City, and holds a master's degree in Forced Migration from the University of Oxford in the UK.
Arrey Ojong Eyumeneh is currently a PhD candidate at the Friedrich Alexander University (FAU) of Erlangen- Nuremberg, Germany. He holds an LLM in Human Rights from the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest-Hungary, and an LLB from the University of Dschang in Cameroon. Prior to joining FAU, he served as Human Rights Officer and Protection of Civilians Officer respectively at the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). Arrey worked in different NGOs in Cameroon and South Africa. He continues to be passionate about Human Rights protection and promotion in Africa and beyond.
