Dr. Melike Saraç
Dr. Melike Saraç is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Research Methodology at the Institute of Population Studies, Hacettepe University. She received her Master's degree in Mathematics from Ankara University and in Social Research Methodology from HUIPS. She received her Ph.D. degree in Social Research Methodology in 2021. She completed the “Sampling Program for Survey Statisticians” program as a Kish Fellow at the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan. Moreover, she has worked on various nationwide surveys, including Turkey Demographic and Health Survey, Research on Domestic Violence against Women in Turkey, Turkey Roma Population Survey, migration and youth surveys. Her current research interests are survey quality, quantitative data analysis, sampling design, mismeasurement of survey responses, demography, non-response and data collection. Dr. Saraç has published and co-authored articles in International Journal of Social Research Methodology, Journal of Biosocial Science and Quality and Quantity.
