ERASMUS+ Project on “TEPEB European Certificate of Energy Performance Expertise on Buildings, which is originally known with the French title of “TEPEB « Certification Européenne de Technicien de la Performance Energétique du Bâtiment » № 2014-1-FR01-KA200-008666”, is completed with participation of Beykoz University. Beykoz University was the coordinating education institution for Turkey operations of the project. Turkish Union of Technicians and TTE Company were the other Turkish partners of the project.
The project launched under the leadership of GIP-FIPAG from France had 9 partners from France and Spain. The project, which started at the beginning of 2015, was completed on August 31, 2017. Associate Professor Baki Aksu, Dr. Aslıhan Bekaroğlu and Lecturer Ersin Şahin implemented the project on behalf of Beykoz University thanks to administrative support of Beykoz University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman and Beykoz Logistics Vocational School’s former directors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yüksel, Prof. Dr. Okan Tuna and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Şakir Ersoy. Associate Professor Mustafa Caner Aküner and Associate Professor Ayhan Onat from Marmara University as well as Associate Professor Selcan Serdaroğlu and Dr. Kadriye Eylem Özkaya Lasalle from Galatasaray University supported the project academically. Furthermore, our university’s administrative personnel offered significant support throughout administrative processes of the project.
The project was supported voluntarily by several project stakeholders. The final report of the project is currently being reviewed by the EU. Once the final report is approved, we will continue the process of forwarding 8 certification trainings on Levels 4 and 5 of the European Qualifications Framework produced by the project to the Vocational Qualifications Authority to assure recognition of these trainings by the Authority so that sustainability of the project can be achieved.
