From the Head of The Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department

Dear Students;

Selecting a university and department is one of the most important decisions that will shape your dreams. We provide assurance that you will be provided with all kinds of opportunities and support to walk to the future with strong steps and to be successful and qualified chefs and managers in your field through education and training of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. Starting from the first year of your academic year, we prepare you for business life. Students who have received their diploma from our department can work anywhere in the tourism sector where accommodation, food and beverage, travel and transportation are available. Graduates of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts can work in the private sector as a cook, chef, manager chef, manager or operator in hotels, restaurants, food factories, airline companies and other food and beverage businesses. They can also work in the research and development departments of food companies. Apart from these, graduates of gastronomy and culinary arts can write and consult in the field of food and beverage. In our country, students who aim to work in state institutions after graduation are also assigned to state institutions with 4801 qualification code by entering KPSS (Public Personnel Selection Examination).
