You can conduct your summer educatin registration on ois.beykoz.edu.tr address from Course Selection screen until June 24, 2020.
Students of Other Higher Education Institutions
They can register to summer school with special student status by fulfilling their financial obligations. A certificate is issued to the special students which displays the name, credits and achievement grades of the courses they have taken. Click to apply.
Extension Students
Persons who are at least high school senior students and are not registered in a higher education institution can take courses in summer education under Extension Student status, provided that they document their student / graduation status and fulfill their financial obligations. These students are given a document showing the name, credits and grade of the courses taken in summer education. Click for the application.
Principles of Summer Education;
• Students who cannot take some courses for various reasons, fail the previous courses or want to increase the grade of the course they have succeeded can apply for summer education.
• Beykoz University students can take a maximum of 15 ECTS courses in summer education. Upon graduation, students may take up to 6 ECTS additional courses upon the recommendation of the relevant Executive Boards and the decision of the University Administrative Board.
• The students who are at the graduation stage and the students who have completed their normal education period but could not take the Practice Training at Workplace course or have taken but failed this course, provided that they have a cumulative grade point average of 1.50 and / or higher can take 22 ECTS Workplace Practice Training course as a project only limited to 2019-2020 Academic Year at summer education. Students in this situation will be able to choose a Practice Training at Workplace course as well as other courses which will have 15 ECTS at maximum.
• Students who are registered in courses that cannot be opened because the number of students cannot be reached will be able to select other courses / courses that have been finalized by applying to the Student Affairs Office as of 25 June 2020.
• Students can take courses from other higher education institutions with the decision of the academic unit boards regarding the condition that they want to take in the summer course, if the course they are applying for cannot be opened, with the same or more ECTS credits as of 25 June 2020, the course contents being equivalent and not exceeding the maximum credits.
• Even if the students fulfill the attendance requirement for the course they have taken before, they have to attend the courses they take at the summer education online.
• Students who register in summer education will be refunded for the courses that have not been opened. The fees paid by students who have registered to the courses opened are not refundable, regardless of attendance.
