Dear Students,
It has been decided to conduct the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester final exams online, considering the current situation of the pandemic.
Regarding the online exams, the Council of Higher Education conveyed its request to all universities to apply exam security measures based on the principle of "transparency and auditability".
Accordingly, the following rules will apply to the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester and other exams (Make-up, single course, grade increase, etc.);
1. Exams will be conducted on OnlineBeykoz https://online.beykoz.edu.tr/ system.
2. During the exams, the cameras and microphones of the students must be open on the online simultaneous Zoom program of the university.
3. It is recommended to take the exams with laptop-desktop computers equipped with cameras and microphones.
4. The exams will be held under supervision and if your camera and microphone are not on during the exam, your exam will be invalid.
5. All exams will be saved on the zoom to be evaluated only for exam objections and the records will be deleted after the objection process ends.
6. Students who do not have exam equipment such as computer, camera and microphone;
a. If they reside in Istanbul, they will be able to use the computer laboratories of the university. Our students are required to convey their status to the relevant academic unit secretariats by 31 December 2020 from the e-mail address with the extension student.beykoz.edu.tr.
b. Students residing outside of Istanbul, on the other hand, will be able to benefit from the internet and computer facilities offered by the universities in the province or district where they reside, based on the letter sent by YÖK to all universities and public institutions. Students who do not have a university unit in the province or district where they reside will be able to benefit from the facilities of the Directorate of National Education or other public institutions and organizations in the province or district where they reside.
7. Multiple choice exams will be held on a single screen for each question and there will be no return between questions.
8. Informative videos on how the exams will be administered will be shared with our students.
