Organized for the third time this year, the International Congress on Family, Youth and Child Friendly Tourism Management will be held online on 23-25 June 2021. The congress, which was previously held by Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Tourism in 2018 and 2019, could not be held in 2020 due to pandemic conditions. The congress, which will be held for the third time this year, will be held within the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences of Beykoz University.
The third International Family, Youth and Child Friendly Tourism Management Congress will be held at our university on 23-25 June 2021. The congress will be held online this year due to pandemic conditions. This year, the area of the congress will expand a little more, and will include Family and Youth Tourism issues. The subject of the congress will be discussed on a large scale with its business and marketing dimensions. The reason for the expansion in this area stems from the requests coming from tour operators and accommodation businesses with "Family Hotel", "Child Friendly Hotel" and similar qualities. In the congress, determining the criteria of "Child Friendly Tourism Enterprise" and awarding the enterprises equipped with these criteria with a special mark will also constitute a special emphasis of the congress.
With this congress, raising awareness about strengthening a reliable tourism understanding, ensuring family security in tourism, protecting youth and preventing violence and exploitation against children, which will form the basis of world peace; it is aimed to prevent commercial abuse of the concepts of family and children and to pave the way for scientific studies. However, some of the papers presented at the congress can be published in the special issue of the refereed Beykoz Academy Journal, which is scanned in the ULAKBİM TR index domain index database, if the request of the academicians with the papers and the referees approve.
It will give us both honor and great strength to see theorists, leaders and practitioners in the fields of tourism, business and economics, especially academics, among us at the congress to be held.
