Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman attended the broadcast and on behalf of the students, President of the Student Council Isa Okul, Engineering and Architecture Faculty Representative Beyzanur Demir, Social Sciences Faculty Representative Meryem Bök, Art and Design Faculty Representative Batuhan Karadeniz, Vocational School Representative Ömer Koç and Civil Aviation School Representative İmran Haıder and directed their questions to Rector Durman.

The meeting, which is held face-to-face in the conference hall every year, was held online on Beykoz University YouTube Channel due to the pandemic. Making the opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman thanked all students for their contributions before the Student Council. The President of the Student Council and Faculty Representatives asked Rector Durman the questions asked on behalf of the students. Durman emphasized that the pandemic continues, and conveyed his goals for the next 2021-2022 academic year to students who wondered whether formal education will start for the next period. He said that when the process is over, the rates of lessons that can be given with the distance education model will be kept at a certain level by fixing them. Saying that face-to-face education is only carried out in a different environment during the distance education process, Durman said that he misses his students.
While answering the questions about optional internships, Rector Durman touched on the education model 3 + 1, 7 + 1 that cares about employment. He emphasized that by being at work for a period of compulsory internships, Beykoz University has an understanding of education integrated with business life. He also talked about the Career Center's work and also talked about the practices of the Presidency Human Resources Office for optional internships for students. He noted that the necessary notes regarding student requests for optional internships were received.
Saying that they attach importance to education and training since the foundation of Beykoz University, Durman gave the good news that an environment is prepared for students in terms of research and development. He explained that Beykoz University New Ideas Incubation Center located in the Rectorate Campus and that an environment was created where students with an entrepreneurial spirit could share their ideas and bring them to life.
