The Research Awards Ceremony was held online on Thursday, January 7, with the participation of our academic and administrative staff. Within the scope of the ceremony, 81 academic studies conducted in 2019-2020 were presented with their awards. At the award ceremony, "Researcher of the Year Award", "Researcher of the Year Honorable Mention Award", "Researcher of the Year Incentive Award", "Publication Awards of the Year" and "Best Master's Term Project of the Year Award" were presented respectively.
Research Awards Ceremony started with the opening speech of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman. Durman congratulated our academicians who were deemed worthy of the award for their academic studies and thanked them for the congratulatory messages conveyed about his appointment as the Rector of Beykoz University for the second time. Then Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kuru shared the details of the award ceremony. Commenting on the evaluation process of the awarded works, Kuru thanked the academicians for the awarded works.
The "Researcher of the Year Award" within the framework of the Research Awards was given to Asts. Prof. Dr. Pınar Acar. At the ceremony, "Researcher of the Year Honorable Mention Award" was presented to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kenan Göçer. In the category of "Researcher of the Year Incentive Award", our two academicians shared the award. Incentive Award, from the School of Civil Aviation, was presented to Asts. Prof. Dr. Nigar Çağla Mutlucan from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Asts. Prof. Dr. Pınar Sayan.
Research Awards Ceremony continued with "Publication Awards". Studies in 10 different types of publications in this field were deemed worthy of an award. In addition, the names of our teachers who received awards via zoom were also shared on the screen.
At the ceremony, the "2019-2020 Academic Year Best Postgraduate Term Project Award" was announced. Gizem Çalı, a non-thesis graduate student in Business Administration, won the "Best Master's Term Project Award of the Year", which was given for the second time this year at our university, with her project titled “A Research on the Investigation of Green Marketing Perspectives of Payment Institutions.” Counseling the award-winning term project, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezgi Uzel Aydınocak also accepted the congratulations by mentioning the details of the work.
