"BTK Line; One Belt One Road" Event Was Held

"BTK Line; One Belt One Road Event" started broadcasting on Saturday, December 26, with an extremely intense number of participants. Rail Systems Management Program Head Ersin Şahin and Rail Systems Technology Alumni Association President Okan Çalıova delivered the event opening speech and pre-appreciation. Then, Rail Systems Club President Emirhan Yolcu informed the participants about the event plan. Actual events on Turkey's participation enables students from various universities.

Particularly Beykoz University, Karabük University, Eskişehir Technical University, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University, Muş Alparslan University, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, students from Rail Systems and Logistics Programs took part.

The guest of the event, Alper Taylan, talked about the Baku, Tbilisi, Kars Line and "One Belt One Road" projects and the importance of our country in these projects. He explained the adventure of our export train, which is a historical moment for our country, going to the Xi'an region of China, with all the details. He also stated that these projects realized for the Rail Systems department create a great employment opportunity and that the sector will need Rail Systems graduates for 2021. While he said that the program was an important project in terms of the careers of the students, he also gave the good news that an internship will be recruited within the scope of the subject.

Participating in the "BTK Line; One Belt One Road" event from the sector, especially RESTDER, Mars Logistics, Bombardier Transportation, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Railway Transportation Association (DTD), TCDD, TCDD Teknik, Modern Group, TMS Train Maintenance and Repair Inc. , Nun Overland Logistics Inc., DCS Digital Customs Services Inc., Anatolian Rail Transport Systems Cluster (ARUS), and representatives of the participating state and private sector, shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants. At the end of the event, there was also a question-and-answer part about the people who were curious and the event ended with a thank you speech.
