Beykoz University Rail Systems Club organized its event on "The Future of Railways, World Railway Strategy" on Thursday, December 10th at 21:30, online via Zoom. Participation in the event was extremely extensive with university students studying railway at the university in Turkey and also participants from London were present at the broadcast.
Following the opening speech of Club President Emirhan Yolcu, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu talked about the academic value of the event. Deputy Director of Beykoz Logistics Vocational School Lect. Nesli Çankırı and Rail Systems Program Head Lect. Ersin Şahin shared their views on the event with the participants.
As a speaker at the event, T.C. Head of Department of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Dr. Çağlar Tabak talked about the future of railways, the importance of railways in our country and in the world, and answered questions about international railway regulations and career steps in railways.
The event progressed with questions and answers. It was concluded with the thanks of Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu.
