New EFQM Model Basic Training Carried Out

The new EFQM Model Basic Training was held on August 26, 2020. The updated contents of the EFQM Model were conveyed in the training carried out by our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman, academic and administrative staff and Management Consultant, EFQM Instructor Celal Seçkin.

About 2,000 exchange experts were surveyed, 24 workshops were conducted, more than 60 organization leaders from various fields were interviewed face-to-face, and a team of experts and direct participants from various sectors and academic circles were formed to create the new EFQM Model in education, and this unique collaboration developed a perfectly flexible framework to help organizations reshape their working patterns in the short and long term. EFQM Instructor Celal Seçkin said, "Although the content and visual identity of the EFQM Model have changed over time, the basic principles on which the model is based have not changed. Regardless of the size of organizations, public, private sector or non-governmental organizations, these principles are as important today as they always are." Noting that the latest version of the EFQM Model, like its previous one, emphasized the customer's priority, the need to adopt a long-term, stakeholder-oriented view, and the understanding of why and how an organization does something, what it achieves as a result of its actions, and the understanding of cause-and-effect relations, Seçkin also re-explained the structure and logic of the EFQM Model in education. Referring to all three dimensions of the model, Seçkin explained the Direction, Application cycle in detail. The training was completed with Q&A.

We would like to thank EFQM Instructor Celal Seçkin for the New EFQM Model Training.
