Our University's "Program Design Workshop based on Learning Outputs" was held on January 3-4, 2019 at the Rector's Campus with the participation of all our academic staff and administrative units. At the joint meeting held on January 3, 2019, a presentation on "The Purpose of the Workshop, National and Turkish Qualifications Frameworks, Program and Course Learning Outputs and Student Workload Based Crediting" was made to all participants of the workshop, while Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu gave a presentation on "Beykoz University New ECTS Information Package", and Vice Secretary General Asts. Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Bekaroğlu Özatar gave a presentation on "Workshop Layout and Functioning".
In the group studies section of the workshop held on January 4, 2019, starting from the European and Turkish Qualifications Frameworks, the program outputs, course learning outputs and credit determination process based on student workload were defined and the application was carried out for a program selected as an example. Workshop groups consisting of the academic staffs of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, Faculty of Arts and Design, Faculty of Social Sciences, School of Civil Aviation, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, School of Foreign Languages, Beykoz Logistics Vocational School and Vocational School worked on sample files in the fields of "Education, Health, Social Sciences, Engineering". Following the group work, the group rapporteurs informed the participants about the results.
Following this preparatory work, academic units will re-design all programs of Beykoz University within 3 months.
