Together with its foundation, Beykoz University has started to implement the EFQM Excellence Model to achieve sustainable excellence in its services. The University, which underted external evaluation within the scope of the model, was awarded with a 2-star level 'Determination in Excellence' certificate.
Beykoz University has embarked on an important journey to implement the EFQM Excellence Model developed by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and to set up management processes with this model. On November 10, 2016, the university, which participated primarily in the National Quality Movement, passed a field assessment planned on 6 themes by two EFQM evaluators for Stability in Excellence and was entitled to receive an "EFQM Certificate of Stability in Excellence" at the level of 2 Stars.
On November 15-16, 2016, the 25th congress was held in Istanbul with the theme of "New Normal". Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman, who received the university's "EFQM Determination in Excellence" Certificate on stage at the National Quality Congress, said, "Together with the establishment of our university, we started our journey of excellence. Our goal is Turkey and then the European Grand Prize for Excellence. We act with the aim of making Beykoz University, one of the youngest universities in Turkey, a center of happiness, freedom, tolerance and success for its students and employees. The Excellence Model will also shed light on our principles of continuous improvement, learning, adding value to learning and society with what they have learned, and being innovative. Thus, Beykoz University will reach its goal of becoming an exemplary university with dignity at home and abroad in a short time with its achievements."
The "Goodwill Statement", which also documented the university's participation in the National Quality Movement, was signed by KalDer Chairman Buket Eminoglu Pilavcı and Beykoz University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman. “
