Dear Students,
In line with the press statement made today by the Chairperson of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR, the following decisions have been taken by our University Senate.
- 2022-2023 Spring Semester courses at our university will resume completely as Distance Education at all levels as of 20 February 2023 in accordance with the previously planned and announced weekly course schedule, and will comply with our university’s Distance Education Standards. In line with the statements of the YÖK Chairperson, these conditions may be reviewed and updated in April.
- In the Spring Semester, students will be able to resume their applied education in programmes that feature Applied Education (Vocational Training at Workplace, Internship). Students who have been directly affected by the earthquake and therefore cannot continue their practical training will be able to postpone their applied education.
- During this period, students who wish and need can use Kavacık Campus Central Library and other facilities of this campus. Meanwhile, the administrative units of our university will continue their services at Kavacık and Rectorate campuses.
- Since the decision to continue university education completely through distance education will be reviewed at the beginning of April, the students who come from other provinces in Turkey and other countries to study at our university are advised to take this situation into consideration.
- "In addition to the information already provided during the week regarding distance education, new announcements will be made separately by our Distance Education Research & Application Centre (UZEM). Here you can find basic information about participation to online classes.
We wish you a successful Spring Semester.
