Issued regularly since 2019 by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the "University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report 2023" has been released. The report is prepared and published by YÖK every year through analyzing the relevant YÖKSİS data in order to support the functions of universities while also evaluating their performances.
Beykoz University ranks 1st among the 66 universities that has shown steady development under the heading "Distribution of universities according to the number of international students" in the 2023 report.Prepared by examining the number of international students enrolled in associate, undergraduate and graduate programs in the 2021-2022 academic year, our University ranks first thanks to its steady development in the number of international students, which shows the importance Beykoz University has attached to internationalization- an essential part of our education model. The report reads that out of a total of 260,316 international students studying at 198 universities in the 2021-2022 academic year, 195,390 were enrolled in public universities and 64,926 were enrolled in foundation universities.
Beykoz University also ranks among the top 5 universities with the highest ratio of female staff among the 199 universities covered under another highlighted heading of the report "Distribution of universities according to the ratio of female staff". Moreover, we take great pride in announcing that the study has proved Beykoz University to be the 4th foundation university with the highest female staff ratio thanks to its female academic staff ratio of 62.40%. The ratio above is calculated by the ratio of the number of female academic staff to the total number of academic staff in university academic staff records in the 2021-2022 academic year, and only takes into consideration the academic staff. In the 2021-2022 academic year, 45.82% of academic staff at 199 universities consisted of women. This rate was 52.48% for the foundation universities and 42.05% for the public universities.
