Istanbul Kent University with the cooperation of Oxford University held a training program with the specialization in Testing and Assessment for two days (November 8th and 9th, 2023). In this training program many lecturers from different universities have participated and Prof Dr. Merve Selcuk who had already held many Testings and Assessment Trainingat different universities in Turkey, was the trainer. As the representatives of Beykoz University, lecturers Sara Ghanbarzadeh and Victorya Barsegyan also attended this training. During these two sessions, key points regarding issues in Assessment and Evaluation were focused on. Both theoretical and practical aspects of this training provided the chance for the participants to gain a deeper understanding of the content and aspects of each assessment technique.
The opportunity for the participants to contact and communicate with each other regarding the structure and content of assessment programs from different centers of higher education was of great importance to be aware of updated and more feasible and plausible ways of dealing with assessment and training issues.
