The results of the “Turkey University Satisfaction Survey - TÜMA” 2024, conducted annually by the independent research laboratory University Research Laboratory - ÜniAr, have been published. Our university ranked 15th in the “General Satisfaction Ranking of Foundation Universities” this year as well, maintaining its success with a B grade.
A total of 200 universities, including 126 state universities and 74 foundation universities across Turkey, participated in TÜMA 2024, with data collected from 50,000 students.
Students from Beykoz University, who have been participating in the research since 2016, expressed their satisfaction with their university. Beykoz University ranked 5th in the “Foundation Universities’ Satisfaction with Institutional Management and Operations Ranking,” 15th in both the “Foundation Universities’ Academic Support and Interest Ranking” and the “Foundation Universities’ Learning Experience Satisfaction Ranking.”
Beykoz University, which places importance on students' basic and managerial skill development, was ranked 19th in the “Foundation Universities’ Personal Development and Career Support Ranking,” 25th in the “Foundation Universities’ Learning Opportunities and Resource Richness Ranking,” and 39th in the “Foundation Universities’ Campus and Living Satisfaction Ranking.”
Highlighting the university's rapid success and student-focused approach, Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman stated, “I believe independent research is important. I recommend that students take advantage of these surveys during the upcoming preference period. University candidates can make accurate analyses for their future.”

While our university ranked 15th in the “General Satisfaction Ranking of Foundation Universities,” our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman received the Silver Award at the ÜniAr Excellence Performance Awards.
As part of TÜMA-2024, a “Rector Performance Evaluation Scale” consisting of 10 items was applied to evaluate the rectors of the universities where students are studying. As a result, data was collected from 50,000 students across 200 universities (126 state and 74 foundation) regarding their university's rectors. After analysis, the highest scores were awarded to three rectors with the ÜniAr Gold Award, four rectors with the ÜniAr Silver Award, and five rectors with the ÜniAr Bronze Award. Beykoz University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Durman was honored with the ÜniAr Silver Award.
