Beykoz University took another important step in the field of rail systems and transportation and signed a strategic cooperation protocol with BURULAŞ (Bursa Ulaşım Toplu Taşıma İşletmeciliği Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.), a subsidiary of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.
The protocol was signed by Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay, Rector of Beykoz University and Fahrettin Beşli, General Manager of BURULAŞ A.Ş. Within the scope of the cooperation, training programs will be organized to support the professional and academic development of BURULAŞ personnel, while at the same time rail systems trainings will be provided by the experienced academic staff of Beykoz University.
This cooperation enables Beykoz University to bring its expertise in the field of rail systems to Bursa, similar to the agreement made with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Metro Istanbul A.Ş. last year, which made a great impression. In addition to the trainings, Beykoz University students will have the opportunity to do internships at BURULAŞ and will be able to make a strong start to their careers by gaining sectoral experience in this field.
As Beykoz University, we believe that this cooperation will contribute to both the academic and sectoral development of the rail systems sector. We are confident that this step taken in line with Turkey's sustainable transportation goals will support the training of qualified workforce and the acceleration of technological innovations in rail systems.
This protocol, which once again demonstrates Beykoz University's academic strength and strong ties with the industry, continues to make a difference with education and cooperation projects.
