Prof. Dr. Gök's Article Published in Ayrıntı Magazine

Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Political Science and International Relations, Assistant Professor Seval Ünlü Gök's article "Women Defending Their Lives: From the Quest for Justice to the Quest for Politics" was published in the Violence issue of Ayrıntı Magazine. In the article, Gök focuses on women's right to defend themselves against violence, which has recently become highly visible and generated widespread social interest. In her article, Gök evaluates the political, legal and moral dimensions of the issue together and seeks an answer to the question “whether the opposite of violence should be nonviolence or counter-violence”.
