Beykoz University Faculty of Business and Administrative Sciences Business Administration (English) Program has been accredited for 3 years by the Social Humanities Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating (STAR) Association.
This success, which is the first accreditation our university has received on a departmental basis, was achieved after 18 months of intensive work. During the evaluation process within the scope of 11 main criteria and 42 sub-criteria, the STAR Accreditation Evaluation Team of 4 experts in their field made a two-day site visit on 4-5 November 2024 and made detailed examinations. In this process; both face-to-face and online interviews were held with the program's management staff, faculty, students and internal and external stakeholders. In addition, educational activities, department classrooms, laboratories, student facilities, faculty and campus facilities were meticulously evaluated.
During the accreditation process, the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ezgi Uzel Aydınocak, Vice Deans Assist. Prof. Aslıhan Bekaroğlu and Assist. Prof. Aysun Varan, Business Administration Department Head Assist. Prof. Özgür Burçak Gürsoy Yenilmez, Assist. Prof. Hüsniye Fırat and Res. Assist. Ergun Pirsefa Yıldırım took part in every stage of the process with their devoted work.
Receiving this accreditation has been an important step in the continuous improvement of the quality of education and the development of the program. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to this process, particularly our Rector, Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay, and our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Baki Aksu.
