We continued Heath, Safety and Security Conversations with the topic of “Basics of Risk Management." under the coordination of our University’s Occupational Health and Safety Department and Occupational Health and Safety Club organized jointly with Heath, Safety and Security Group. Our guest in our conversation was Allianz Technical and Risk Engineering Director Mr. Dr. Ceyhun EREN. Speaking about the fundamentals of risk management in our conversation, Mr. Ceyhun mentioned that risk management should be created for the existence and determination of businesses. He stated that there are more than 400 various risks in businesses other than the risks arising from the dangers. He emphasized the importance of well researching the damages that may occur in the work areas and having damage archiving studies. He stated that while managing the risks that may occur in the workplaces, risk interactions should be considered and, in some cases, these are not independent from each other.
