We continued the Health, Safety and Security Conversations with the Occupational Health and Safety Program of our University and the Health, Safety and Security Group under the coordination of the Occupational Health and Safety Club with the subject of Why Occupational Health and Safety. Our guest was Mr. Fırat BOZGAÇ in our conversation.
Starting our conversation by explaining the importance of health and safety studies regarding the continuity of the lives of living and non-living beings in professional and social life, Mr. Fırat stated that especially everyone involved in working life is responsible for the health and safety of both themselves and their colleagues in their workplaces. Mr. Fırat emphasized the importance of state-employer-employee responsibility in occupational health and safety at workplaces, the obligations of the parties, success in occupational health and safety practices can be achieved through proactive approaches and studies and effective communication. Emphasizing that he is still on the way of learning and development, Mr. Fırat added that improving ourselves in communication, research and reporting, making presentations and training, analysis, consistency and innovation will increase our awareness and difference in both social and professional life.
